Well, it’s here, the final day of Norwich Cocktail Week!
It’s the last day to make the most of your wristband, and the last day to track one down if you haven’t got one already! With lots of bars offering 2-4-1 deals with a wristband it doesn’t take many cocktails to make it worthwhile!
Yesterday we enjoyed trying out some of Norwich Cocktail Weeks best kept secrets. On Friday and Saturday nights Cactus Cafe Bar is open till 10pm and is a lovely relaxed place for a drink, ask at the bar for their Norwich Cocktail Week special, Cactus Martini using Cactus Water. East 26 has a couple of offers. Enjoy 2 Cocktails for £10 in the downstairs bar, we highly recommend the Mata Hari, or book in for dinner and enjoy a cocktail and dessert for £10, both the dark chocolate cookies and the pumpkin swirl cheesecake are delicious! We also found the secret menu at Platform Twelve, the spiced maple old fashioned is well worth a try!
As of last night both Cactus Cafe and East 26 still had wristbands available behind the bar.
Saturday night is party night, so if you fancy some late night drinks there’s plenty of bars on the list that stay open till the small hours!
Gringo’s Tequila Bar, The Waterfront, Karma Kafe, Gonzo’s Tea Room, Be At One, Bond No.28 Tombland and Franks Bar are all open till 2am or later and your wristband is valid all night!
We particularly enjoyed the Raspberry Palomas at Gringo’s, and The Waterfronts upstairs Cocktail Bar is a little late night haven.
