Well, we made it to the final weekend of Norwich Cocktail Week!
Don’t forget your wristband is valid till close on Saturday, so you’ve still got Friday after work drinks. Lunch with your Saturday shopping and a Saturday night on the town to make use of it to get deals on cocktails in bars across the City.
Wristbands are still available across the bar in Bond, East Twenty Six, Franks, The Gin Palace, North, William & Florence and The Woolpack, so it’s not too late to get yours and make the most of the weekend.
Today we thought we’d give you some recommendations on where to enjoy a bite to eat with those Cocktails over the weekend.
Franks Bar and North – Franks and North are run by the same team. Their Cocktail specials are great, but we recommend booking a table for 4 for food, that way all of you get a free Cocktail if you all have wristbands.
Wristbands are also available at the bar in both venues if any of your party don’t have one!
Pop into Alley Ole from 5pm and enjoy their Spanish Pintxos. £3 a plate or 4 for £11, their Spanish tortilla is amazing, plus all their Cocktails are £5 with your wristband.
The William and Florence are out on Unthank Road and were a late addition to this years Cocktail Week, so you won’t find them in your book.
Enjoy 2-4-1 Cocktails with your wristband and tuck into one of their artisan charcuterie boards, cheese boards, or their vegan board.
Make sure you book a table at 42 King Street as their tapas style food is really popular and it gets busy. Plus enjoy £5 cocktails from their 765 menu while you dine.
It’s Happy Hour all day at Woolf & Bird with a wristband, so you can wash down some of their delicious fried chicken and burgers for a casual lunch or dinner.
Smart but not snobby, East Twenty Six is one of our favourite places to go for a relaxed dinner. Their tapas style food is amazing and great for sharing.
Plus all cocktails are 2 for £12 with a wristband. Check out their specials menu for some real treats!
With it’s high ceilings and book lined walls The Library is a great place for dinner. Your Cocktail Week wristband will get you nibbles to enjoy with your pre-dinner cocktail.
Mr Postles is a real treat if you like a bit of theatre! Their Cocktails include concoctions made with dry ice, or piled high with marshmallows. Definitely one to visit if you like to Instagram your drinks!
Food wise you’ll find bar favourites like chicken wings, burgers and loaded nachos with a Mr Postles twist, as well as small plates ideal for sharing.
Not a food pub, but right across the road from the award winning Grosvenor Fish Bar, and you can take your chips in and enjoy them a Moloko or Runaway. Buy 2 and you’ll get a third free with your wristband!
Last, but by no means least, we recommend the pizzas at The Plasterers on Cowgate.
A little out of the city this is a speciality craft beer pub, but has great knowledgeable staff and is the home of Joe, last years Cocktail Competition winner. Ask him about his bottle conditioned aged vodka, it’s really special.
Your wristband will get you 2 Bloody Marys for £6 (ideal if you want a hair of the dog with their amazing breakfasts on Saturday morning) or 10% off all other cocktails.
