Welcome to day two of Norwich Cocktail Week! We hope there aren’t too many sore heads this morning? It was great to see so many of you out and about making the most of your Norwich Cocktail Week wristbands last night.
Norwich Cocktail Week, is all about celebrating the variety and innovation of the Cocktail Bars in Norwich and we certainly saw some of that last night. In the Gin Palace we saw bespoke specials, only available to wristband holders, that included giant ice balls injected with spirit and then doused in flames, in the Ten Bells we examined a list that included a cocktail made with kombucha and in Hawthorn Bar we drank what can only be described as the cocktail version of buttered popcorn.
Sunday may be a little more relaxed but there are still plenty of opportunities to make the most of your wristband. Maybe stay a little closer to home and try some home cooked food along with 2 cocktails for £8 at The Cottage on Silver Road, enjoy 2 hangover curing Bloody Marys for £8 from the menu at The Plasterers or a roast dinner and 2-4-1 Cocktails at Warwick St Social.

Gonzo’s Tea Room – Sailor’s Jerry’s Film Screening 4pm
Come down for our exclusive screening of the film about the life of the one and only Sailor Jerry himself. Hori Smoku is a documentary following the stories told by friends of the convoluted life of the tattoo legend. We’ll be serving cocktails all day in honour of the man and legend himself. Live music to follow from Barefeet Records.
Franks Bar – Sunday Film and Acoustic Night 5:30pm
This week showing Short Circuit 2 (PG) from 5:30pm. Followerd by singer songwriter Vivian Wulf for an hour from 7.30pm, playing Blues & Folk, in the cosy, candle lit front room.
